I love you buddy, but nothing you do can be considered "cleaning"
Mom got a camera so she can see me when she is not home. How am I supposed to plot for the Turtpocalypse now if Mom is always watching me?!?
So I used to have the fitbit aria scale and it was acting all wonky for a while. I decided to get a new scale. I landed on one by Eufy — the Smart Scale C1. It has great reviews, was only $30, and I like that it connects to an app via Bluetooth and is also compatible to sync with the fitbit app.
However. I have never had more erratic and fluctuating results on the scale, guys. It’s weird. I think it’s finally correctly calibrated because it’s reading my weight a lot more quickly now.. the first handful of days I used it, it took way too long to land on a number at all. But really: a 10 lb spread in the matter of a week?? Impossible.
Also, we drove almost two hours each way to go to a six year olds birthday party yesterday, but pep had a great time, pip was a big hit with the ladies, and your girl looked cute for the first time in 2 months. 😅
Including these zucchini hash browns for @katiegirlwanders - check them out. They’re tasty and a sneaky way to get those veggies in! Pep loves them.

I like to keep my house pretty picked up and clean.
I hate cleaning my floors, whether its sweeping, vacuuming, or mopping. I. Hate. It.
Every single time it goes like this, clean kitchen, clean bathroom, pick up general mess and clutter, get to floors, procrastinate about it, convince myself they're not that bad and I'll do them next time.
This helps 1000% more than I would have thought. It's not perfect but it's much better than the nothing I had been doing.
My boyfriend and I got an Eufy sweeper (essentially a Roomba) and, being the nerdy couple we are, named him Alfred. Every single time I see him in action he looks like he's scuttling around like a little bug. So after sometime with our friend MJ, I decided that Alfred is our SCUTT-ler.
Scene: New robot vacuum is charging.
Husband: The new vacuum has a remote control.
Me: Wait. You mean I can control it? Drive it around?
Husband: Yes.
