i was watching final destination vids on YouTube last night, and I came across a ranking video of all 5 movies (made b4 bloodlines came out) and the person missed the whole point of the movies.

The person said that the movies were JUST about the death scenes. He called all of the scenes in between the deaths "pointless" and said that they shouldn't try to make up care about the characters. It was genuinely the worst ranking video i have ever watched.

He completely disregarded all the heartfelt moments between the characters as "drama". He said that the deaths were the only good part. That's not the point of the movies. Yes, the deaths are part of it, but they want you to care about the characters so their deaths have an impact. He said that those character-bonding scenes were unnecessary. They were. They were.

The scene in FD2 before Rory dies, where he asks Kim to hide his drugs and stuff? It was necessary.

He said ALL character-building moments were unnecessary. A ranking video has genuinely never made me mad, because I always listen to people's opinions and rankings. But he just missed the point entirely.
