lore drop but in my headcanon lore the timelines are connected. first, they are 14 years old in fëdor×9, then they get trapped into land of kings for 6 years (first 5 chapters) then fëdor let's them out when they're 20. in the pic i depicted them at the time of 4th meeting (18 y.o, 4 years into lok)

joseph & the joker lore!

tw cannibalism

the joker was summoned back in 30s (in the year & setting of criminart) by a man who was in debt and needed help and was desperate. the joker didn't help him though, he didn't want to be a clone, he wanted to be human, but he couldn't be on his own without a human summoner. so he has split himself in half - a human half and a magic half. the magic half has stayed in the card, and the human half has took the place of their summoner - he killed him and to cover it up he had to eat the body. piece by piece for a whole week. when he had no body left, he took the summoner's identity and lived on his own. he also kept the deck on his own possession.

he then changed his name to Joseph K. Red and started a life as a criminal to cover the debts the summoner left, and he made himself some helpers - Arthur, the king of spades, and Jack, the jack of spades. the latter joseph proclaimed to be his son, because he liked jack a lot. and arthur thought of jack as his brother, but he never was worthy enough to be called a son to joseph.

so they lived like that for many years, and after a while arthur had just enough of joseph's bullshit and asked jack to run away. jack didn't mind that because he always was rebellious, so they said to joseph they are going to travel, and that they'll come back. joseph let them go, and they had stolen the deck and left and never returned. then they died some day and returned to their cards and the deck was lost.

cut to our days, fëdor now has the deck. joseph realized he haven't seen it in a while and started searching for it, he used his connection to his magic half, that was still in their card, to communicate to him and seek his location. the magic part started to communicate back, sending some heavy mental signals, that had caused the clones nightmares (that is when joker presents happens)

after some weeks the clones has realized that the nightmares were caused by the joker card, so they has freed the magic half of joker and named him petrushka (parsley). petrushka then lived with clones and fëdor for some time, and he even had gotten close to fëdor, they became almost brotherly. but petrushka, as a magic half, was suffering in the real world, getting worse in the brain (almost like dementia) and his health was getting worse too ever since he separeted from joseph. so, basically, he was dying slowly.

then joseph has arrived to rostov and found fëdor. he tried to get the deck back, but fëdor didn't let him have it.

joseph started to hang out with clones, he even recognised the jack of spades, his son, in waru. they have complicated relationship though. petrushka begged him to merge back, but joseph was too far gone at that point, he didn't want to let go of his humanity, he wanted to be himself. petrushka though, he wanted to live, desperately.

and in the end, petrushka FORCED joseph to merge back, and joseph as a person was gone. forever.

and the joker came back.

in eugeneverse (thats how i call my headcanon version idk) riccardo has died pretty young due to criminal life and charlie has lived the rest of his life with him stuck deep in his heart. they are also cards that has been lost from the deck and their future parents found the cards and created their children out of it (they couldn't have their own) in two different times and two different countries. yet they still has found each other, because card entities attract one another (think of stand users in jojo lmao)

jack and his brother were joseph's workers and had done a lot of crimes and stuff, but the king had enough one day and asked jack to run away from joseph. so they did, and then joseph has lost the deck and they died lmao.

joseph has a lot of lore too but i don't really want to share it just yet.

Kuron

lore below

in my headcanons, citizens of kurograd are not human - they are biological andriods (if you have watched wonder egg priotity, think of frill) and kuron is the first prototype. he is most unhuman of them all - he lacks emotions, feelings, weaknesses. kuromaku created him, thinking he didn't want human factor around. turns out living with a machine while having human mind is too complicated, so other kurolings were made with human mentality.

if supporting characters had story arcs, kuron's would be about him being put under too much pressure because he's perfect and never shows weaknesses. but the truth is, he's not human, but he's still alive. and he can break, too.

bunch of fedor centered doodles because i am obsessed in an unhealthy way

also few headcanons on him:

- he is armenian!!!! and also has darker skin

- autistic, with special interest on comics and drawing, and also is absolutely socially unadapted. was considered "the weird kid" his entire life

- he is intersex and has trouble with understanding his gender identity, but he never thinks of it too much

- smokes (i've been playing status and a post of him smoking popped up and i thought yeah he would do that tbh)

- his hair is naturally wavy/curly but he can't take care of them for shit and cuts them short so it's just looks like this

- wears reading glasses sometimes

- niju san (hatsune fedor) is just him in drag because it's funny

- (TW ED??) has some problems with eating, as his appetite is non-existent and he has to force himself to eat. but most of the time food just gives him the ick so he doesn't eat until it physically hurts

i have a LOT more doodles with him but they're not exactly... family friendly... ehm. so enjoy this

fëdor and rodef being identical is a very funni thought to me. but also scary af

explanation below

in my headcanon, rodef is a perfect clone, so perfect that he is BETTER than fëdor in every way. he is nicer, healthier, more patient and is actually socially capable and everyone like him. devastating thought tbh. and i believe everyone would be scared of the feeling that someone so much better than yourself are going to replace you.

but after all, rodef is so perfect that it feels uncanny. people who know fedya can always tell that it's not him. it can't be.

a fun fact: his scary personality isn't canon. he was only confirmed to being an odd/weird clone with backwards speech. also his colors were described as reversed (whatever it means), so his white hair and black shirt wasn't canon for a longest time either.

in old concepts he looks very cute and sweet with the biggest sparkliest eyes:

so i'm pretty sure he's weird but generally nice.
