@iron-man-bingo Square: 100 Words Fic Warning:  None Word Count:  100 Pairing:  Tony Stark x Pepper Potts Summary:  Euneirophrenia (n)  the peace of mind that comes from having pleasant dreams.

Tony startled awake.  The full weight of his daughter slamming into him as she jumped up onto the bed.  He had been dreaming.  It was a good one.  One where he had gotten to have those things he didn’t think were meant for him.  A family that loved him.  Time to spend with them.  The whole kit and kaboodle.

“Daddy!  Time to wake up!”

He pulled her into her arms and Pepper rolled over beside him, wrapping her two favorite people in tight.

The dream had been good and it lingered still.  It was nice that they matched his life.

On Dreams and . . . You

It was the same, just like the ones that came before. And yet, it was different. Dreamlike. A series of moments now forever etched, Just walking, talking, eating together, Like we always do. But something has changed. Maybe it’s the coffee we shared, Maybe it’s the laughter we exchanged, Maybe it’s the realization within me, That made it all turn into euneirophrenia. Out of all the dreams I’ve walked, That day took on an ethereal quality. Familiar, yet new to me. Worthy of penning and adding another one To my collection of proses. But I can’t help myself, still wondering, Will this dream become grayish, just like the others, Or will this be a masterpiece that is going to be painted, With a spectrum of colors? When and how can I reach out to you again, To fall asleep together and traverse through These vast possibilities that can happen? But for now, I will drown myself in this Amalgamation of memories, Convincing myself that this time, I will do something right.
