There is something hauntingly beautiful about Amsterdam when the sun dips below the horizon and the city lights begin to shimmer on the canals. This view of the Zuiderkerk spire reflected perfectly in the still water is giving peak "European winter dream." The way the pink and purple hues of the twilight sky frame the narrow brick houses and the sleeping boats… it’s a literal painting come to life.
