3D Modelling My Europens in Zbrush. it has been fun working on them and figuring out the anatomy of them. hopefully soon i can have this feller rigged and animated, or posed for 3D printing, next step if to make a space suite for him. A little bit of Lore of these guys, they are a species of Sophont that lives in the oceans of Europa, one of the Moons of Jupiter, but they where more like large 8 limbed semi crustations before humanity arrived and Genetically Uplifted them to Human level sapience, which is why they have some human features to there anatomy, they where used for questionable space labour around Jupiter. hopefully i can get more time to work on my personal project but work tends to eat my time, so hopefully I can  find the time

(Sorry if this ask shows up twice, my Wi-Fi might have crashed as I sent this) Have you ever watched Miraculous and have to remind yourself that it's a foreign show? I'm so used to romantic comedies (and modern anime TBH) where the main characters are 17-18 and Mari and Adrien are 14-15 and I'm like aren't they too young- O H R I G H T I T S F R A N C E.

The only weird thing was for me, was i saw two 14y old drive a car! XD

If they would have been 16 or 17 in the show, we would see them drink alcohol. In france you are allowed to drink beer and wine at the age of 16. So i can imagine the USA-Channels or the KOrean ones, wouldn't welcome that. XD

But for me, it kinda feels more familiar. There weren't many kids shows placed in Europe back then. Sure, there was Heidi (which was suppose to be placed in my counrty), Nils Holgerson, some national shows, but the BIG shows were all american.

Everything which is shown in Europe, feels home, idk.

In the United States, scientific racism justified African slavery to assuage moral opposition to the Atlantic slave trade. Alexander Thomas and Samuell Sillen described African men as uniquely fitted for bondage, because of their "primitive psychological organization". In 1851, in antebellum Louisiana, the physician Samuel A. Cartwright (1793–1863) wrote of slave escape attempts as "drapetomania", a treatable mental illness, that "with proper medical advice, strictly followed, this troublesome practice that many Negroes have of running away can be almost entirely prevented". The term drapetomania (mania of the runaway slave) derives from the Greek δραπέτης (drapetes, "a runaway [slave]") and μανία (mania, "madness, frenzy") Cartwright also described dysaesthesia aethiopica, called "rascality" by overseers.

 The 1840 United States Census claimed that Northern, free Africans suffered mental illness at higher rates than did their Southern, enslaved counterparts. Though the census was later found to have been severely flawed by the American Statistical Association, to John Quincy Adams and others it became a political weapon against abolitionists. Southern slavers concluded that escaping Negroes were suffering from "mental disorders

After the Civil War, Southern (Confederacy) physicians wrote textbooks of scientific racism based upon studies claiming that black freemen (ex-slaves) were becoming extinct, because they were inadequate to the demands of being a free man—implying that African people benefited from enslavement.
