She grips the gun in her hands like it's- ironically- a lifeline. Maybe it is, Atropos thinks drily, in some cruel, twisted way. Shaped by the world, this lump of metal was; it's the only reason that Atropos can come up with as to why it does her job so well. She tilts her head to the side, cracks the vertebrae in her neck.
"Two can play at one game," she mumbles under her breath, when she sees the songbird hop off her horse in the distance, the brim of her hat pulled over her eyes. It's still unmistakably Eurydice, though, the approaching figure in the distance.
Atropos smiles when she sees the telltale gleam of a metal barrel nestled in Eurydice's hand.
