It really was one of Dawn's favourite times of the year. Despite the chill of winter, she was a lover of tradition. Of celebration, of spoiling those near and dear and spending time with them. She would be hosting her families Christmas that year, with Emré's family in tow as well, so she was going all out.
She was already holding more shopping bags than one small woman should be able to carry, and she was heading to the next store, her favourite one in fact, to buy herself a new dress to wear. One bag contained Christmas crackers, another overflowing with tinsel. A third had a giant teddy bear for her sister-in-law's new baby. She really should just make a stop at her car and unload, but she was on a mission.
That was until a face in the crowd stopped her in her tracks. Quickly she looked down, speeding up in the hopes she could get on by and into the shop which was only meters away.
