The Weird entered the mainstream DC universe from another Deminsion and formed his body in issue 1# of The Weird, cover date April, 1988. Besides the Weird (Walter Langley), the issue also introduced Jason Morgan, Billy Langley, and Eva Langley. They were created by Jim Starlin and Bernie Wrightson.
