It was, yet again, another uneventful day in Muddy Waters when a blue-eyed, pale-faced 18 year old stepped off the bus and set foot on the tiny town of Illinois. Her jet black hair, piercing orbs, and haunting complexion drew eyes on her, and yet, not a single soul knew of who this stranger was. Others had her pegged as a lost tourist. What the residents did not know was that Evanessence would call the town her home for quite a while.
For the first year, she established her life in the quiet town - getting her own place, enrolling herself in college, and securing a part-time job at the town diner - all without so much as a word of where she came from and why she had arrived. She was a mystery to the locals, and she liked it that way. If anyone dared to ask anything more personal beyond her name and age, they were met with either a dismissive laugh or a hostile stare, depending on her mood.
A year later into moving to Muddy Waters, it was only then that she finally began to engage with the community in a more social manner. Within that time, she had gathered enough information about what lay beneath the surface of the town’s calm facade. Almost immediately, she began eyeing the Northside Rascals, wanting to join the gang, well, simply because she wanted to. Her relentless determination and feisty attitude was more than enough to earn herself a spot in the Rascals, much to no one’s surprise.
Years later, Evanessence found herself climbing the ranks, as she currently sits as the Second-in-command of the Rascals. However, as of late, she has begun questioning her commitment to the Northside Rascals and the work she could further do for them. The all familiar thought of leaving town and the gang had dawned upon her, and just as she was about to make her exit, Caruso’s death flagged the reward of half a million at Muddy Waters, directing and drawing unwanted attention towards their quiet town.
With the need to mobilise the Rascals and protect the town, she unwillingly put off her departure plans, opting to rise to her role. In her mind, she would only be delaying her leave until the town was rid of their unwanted visitors.

From the minute she stepped foot into town, Evanessence was a mystery. Afraid of her own past, she chooses to stay under the radar most of the time, opting to keep the residents in the dark of who she truly was. She minds her own business, preferring to keep to herself as much as possible. Only a selected few are successful in gaining a friend within her, thus, her loyalty lies on the selected as well, these people being the only ones she is willing to stand up and speak for. When she does open her mouth, she is evidently without a filter, preferring to speak her mind fearlessly and aggressively. Once in a while, this verbal hostility translates into aggravated actions, which gets her into all sorts of trouble.
