A middle aged Italian man blinked, before laughing. “Evangeline always wants her mother’s shepard’s pie! Not that I blame her, it is rather addicting. But Eva- ahh, she’s a good one. She loves food, and she loves sharing it with others.” He folded his arms over his chest, smiling happily. “Her brother and sisters understand on some level, but Eva- she’s always been our little chef. She wants to make sure everyone is properly fed.”
“My wife says she gets it from my mother, acting like an Italian grandmother, but truthfully, it’s how both of our families have always worked.” He gives a small smile. “… We both know that she’s found a bit of a new family. Iolar, Jace, and the others. They seem good for her. She’s come back out of her shell since knowing them.”
He chuckled. “… Well, we just hope she’s keeping them in line. And making sure they’re fed, every now and then.”

What is your relationship status?
Eva couldn’t help a laugh. “Oh, getting right to the point, are we?” She smirked, leaning against the table a little and humming. Should she tease? “I am single as can be.” She paused, drumming her fingertips against the table for a few moments before leaning back, folding her arms over her chest.
“… I suppose the next leading question would be ‘do I want a relationship’. The answer to that is-… hm… probably not.” She shrugged, looking away in thought. “I’m good where I’m at right now. Doesn’t mean I can’t have fun every now and then, but relationship? No, I don’t think so.”
When was your last physical fight?
“Intentional, or not?” Eva quirked a brow, smirking as she chuckled. “… I sparred with Iolar recently. Jace and I doubled up and fought him together. Left me with bruises all up my left side.” She groaned, rolling her shoulder a little. “… Other than that, probably about… a few months back? It was on a job, accidentally ran into a security guard. Poor bloke.”
Fights weren’t uncommon in her line of work. Not in the slightest. But when it came to Iolar-... well, she didn’t like how sore she always ended up afterwards. He could fight, probably better than any of them.
Do you hate anyone at the moment?
Eva paused, staring at the stranger for a few moments. “… Hate is a strong word.” She mused, slowly looking off. “… I suppose. But some hates run deep, and old. I wouldn’t prod too much.” She looked back, her blind eyes sharp behind her visor.
No, there were several people she hated, but one man in particular was-... something special. She didn’t think back to that time often. How she’d lost her sight. Life had gotten-... a lot better since then. But if she ever found that man again-.... Well, she didn’t know what she’d do.
What are you craving right now?
A chuckle escaped her. “Hmmm~... honestly, my Mom’s bread pudding. She did this thing with fruit and vanilla beans that just made it brilliant.” She hummed a little, propping up her head as she looked away. “... Might be time for another visit. Haven’t seen Mom and Dad in a while.”
Who’s the last person you had a deep conversation with?
Eva gave a warm smile. “... Now that’d probably be Jace.” She chuckles, shaking her head. “... He may look like your traditional meathead, but he’s a really good listener, and pretty wise too.” She glanced off, fidgeting with her hands a little. “... We were talking about Eloi, and families.”
“Neither of us are really sure what Iolar is doing with this whole ‘haven’ thing. He’s not exactly a fatherly type, and Eloi needs a real- family. I want to try and give him one, it’s-... how I was raised. Jace feels that Eloi needs one too, but he believes Iolar might rise to the occasion.” She pauses, humming and folding his legs. “... If he doesn’t, we will. The kid needs help, and I know Jace can be a father, even if Iolar can’t.”
