It was finally the weekend and Clara had finished the building work on the substation so I went over to help her finish up connecting the water and electricity. I don't know what happened next, but Billy said he thought I'd passed out but when they checked on me I wasn't breathing. As I'm the only paramedic in The Project they didn't know what to do. They don't have phones to phone the emergency services in the next town over, and the ambulance would have taken too long anyway. The Grim Reaper came to take me away (WTH?) but Billy begged for my life and here I am. I'll be forever grateful to him. It was quite surreal to see all the crying women surrounding me when I came round. They all think he's a hero now and he made the most of it. The rest of the second week passed in a blur of sameness. Doing the crossword, weeding and watering the garden, cooking and spending time with my neighbours. I can tell you some good news, Thea has been studying engineering and we are hopefully going to have the electric and water hooked up soon. I can't wait!
