I don't know what happened next, but Billy said he thought I'd passed out but when they checked on me I wasn't breathing. As I'm the only paramedic in The Project they didn't know what to do. They don't have phones to phone the emergency services in the next town over, and the ambulance would have taken too long anyway. The Grim Reaper came to take me away (WTH?) but Billy begged for my life and here I am. I'll be forever grateful to him. It was quite surreal to see all the crying women surrounding me when I came round. They all think he's a hero now and he made the most of it. It is almost the end of our first week and it's been.... interesting, boring, no, I don't know how to descibe it. The Project is not what I thought it was going to be but I can see the potential. We've had our first crop of fruit from the fruit trees and the tomatoes were... okay. The good news is we have been given different seeds to plant this time, there is only so much bolognese and tomato brushetta we can eat. I'm still studying in the hope of getting my first job. I was really looking forward to getting stuck into my new job as future mayor but it seems there's some hold ups with the town hall so my main role this week has been feeding my fellow settlers. It seems they can smell my cooking all the way across town and I don't think I've eaten a single meal alone this week. I took advantage of their visits to get to know them a bit better and to see if anyone was interested in taking up the role of chief repairman and electricity and water restorer. So far there's not been much interest but I'm sure once they have spent a few days without a hot shower and tv or music they will change their minds. Evan Murray.

It's week two and I like my housemates but sometimes you just want to go out and meet new people. I wish I had a job. Did I tell you we have a pool?
