Research era JonTim makes me actually insane despite knowing literally NOTHING about what their dynamic could’ve been like back then we only know they work in research together and that’s IT.
So the UK gov is using the online "safety" act to censor websites with news, politics, palestine awareness, mental health sites, etc, but they're lowering the age to vote to 16. wonder how thats gonna turn out.
I hate it when someone posts a video of a “spoiled brat” but it’s clearly just a kid with autism who’s severely overstimulated by the environment around them like bro they aren’t a brat they need ether a break or emotional support
I actually hate when people do this
I need dteam to move so my brain comes up with things to write instead of just obsessing over this fandom
figuring out mens clothing
and apparently mens clothing calls the hips your waist!!
which is WRONG and INACCURATE and explains why I bought clothes that where way too big!!
Any other pre-hrt trans folk get this awful feeling in your chest when there's a piece of media where a cis person (usually a woman tbh) has to pretend to be the opposite gender and all is well and good!
The media is nice! I enjoy the others in the group of protags simply existing and not judging or misgendering their identity when they are in disguise.
Think Mulan! Nobody batted an eye at this shorter feminine guy with a strange personality who didn't like to bathe with the others.
Then the fanbase/creator becomes just...blatantly transphobic.
"Oh [Character's friends] TOTALLY knew!"
"There's no way they couldn't tell that [Character] was lying about their gender!"
"In real life, it's too hard to hide that stuff! Their REAL gender is obvious!"
When the fanbase or creator says that it's so easy to tell someone's REAL gender, that the people around them KNEW they were TOTALLY lying.
Do you know how awful saying something like that can make trans people feel? Do you know how you affect actual real trans people in real life?
If you don't, maybe you should stop and think about that.
My mom: what's wrong?
Me: I'm stressed about missing 2 days of school for this orchestra field trip, especially since practically none of my teachers have told me what I should be doing for makeup work. I would have preferred to been able to tell all my teachers about this beforehand
My mom: well that's YOUR fault for obsessing over it, and if you can't handle missing TWO DAYS of school without warning I'll TAKE YOU OUT OF ORCHESTRA and you'll only miss school for sick days
Me: I never said I wanted that
