Nice to be involved in Google's Rubik's cube celebrations. Big ups to Evan You and the Chrome guys.
Clear is an amazing new mobile app for iPhone. I use/love it almost every day. The interface is very unique and easy to use. So of course people will want to emulate that.
Designer/developer Evan You has taken an interest in that emulation, only he’s not looking to rip off Clear’s interactivity. Rather, he decided to try and recreate the interactivity of Clear using CSS3. And he did, quite successfully. (If you’re without an iPhone you can see his interface in action on Vimeo.)
Evan’s looking for a job, too. So if you need a full-time HTML/CSS wizard, Mr. You is your man.
The Who-Where-Venn of Web Censorship – Evan You’s visualization piece on Internet Censorship is worth a look. Especially for the Venn, depicting the reasons for censorship. (via www.informationisbeautiful.net)
