There are two types of Mark/Mk.44: 44A and 44B.
Both models don’t have central blocks. In addition, they mix elements of the organic Evangelions and also of the Angels. All units are capable of producing an AT field and manipulating it.

It’s not out of the ordinary for Leaf ninja to find their Hokage sleeping - in fact, most all of them could think of at least one time they’d found him burrowed in the deep collar of his Hokage robe, zonked out.
His most common makeshift bed was the Hokage chair, his pillow the mountains of paperwork. Shizune could no longer count on all fingers and toes how many times she found him like that, then proceeded to poke him awake with a pencil. He certainly was tired, she always noted, giving a concerned glance when he wasn’t looking. His under eye’s had become dark, and even the lines in his ever-youthful face seemed more prominent, though she supposed that had more to do with the responsibilities of being Hokage. Eventually she began bringing coffee with her when she came to check in, and acknowledged his feverish thanks and embarrassed apologies with a simple nod.
He’d been found in a number of places, the office, rooftops, a grassy field when he could find one, even trees - if he was desperate enough to hide in such a place for a bit of rest. Always, he was sound asleep, and it was near impossible not to feel guilty when waking him up. He would blink sleepily, acknowledge the ninja who’d come upon him, and take off without so much as a wake-up stretch, eyes puffy from sleep and hair matted on one side or the other.
Gai scaled the tree quickly, after catching a glimpse of off-green that didn’t quite match the verdant leaves. Kakashi was balanced carefully between two branches that combined into a secure, if not uncomfortable hammock. He shifted slightly and peeked through his lashes as Gai clambered onto the branch next to him.
“Hello, Gai,” he offered by way of greeting, voice rough with sleep, closing his eyes once again. Gai murmured a hello, observing the dark bags under Kakashi’s eyes. “You seem quiet today, eh rival?”
Gai hummed. “You know, people might happen upon you less if you slept in your own house,” He said, kicking Kakashi’s foot lightly.
“What, and miss out on this lovely tree?” Kakashi dodged the challenge, and Gai nodded, understanding. Perhaps it was less about the sleeping, and more about being away from the village that hounded him every second of every day, albeit unsuccessfuly. Although, it was at least a little about the sleeping.
“Mind if I keep you company?” Gai asked, but Kakashi was already sleeping. He settled in with his back to the trunk of the tree and closed his eyes, opening them only to shoo away ninja who came to seek Kakashi out.
So…. I understand certain followers may find robots hot and all, but these are not anthropomorphic animals. It may be one-sided but I sincerely feel it is difficult for robots to be considered furrybait if they are not clearly modeled after animals and walk on two legs and talk. I would hate to disappoint you, but this is the truth. Evangelions are not furbait.
