we cannot believe that both of our respective blogs are about to surpass a year of being active, and neither of us can ever be grateful enough. we do not deserve all the lovely and beautiful people here — you’re all absolutely amazing, please remember that! in honour of our one year blog anniversaries being only ten days apart, we’ve decided to hold a joint event to celebrate! ♥

this is an event that will span the length of ten days, from the 17th to the 27th of may. liyah’s blogiversary is on the 17th, and chloe’s is on the 27th.

the event will be split into three — three days for the first sub-event, three for the next, and four days for the final sub-event.

all three events will have PROMPTS, and you’ll have to create something to do with jily about them (cause both of us love jily sfm)

you can create any form of creation to support the event — be it writing, edits, art, or anything you think supports the given prompt! we love seeing your creations anyways, so whatever it is, we’re sure it’ll be amazing!

and don’t worry if you’re not aware of what the prompts or tropes are yet — we will inform you 2 days before the event!

all of your amazing creations will be reblogged to this blog and our own blogs!

Jily, singer AU (part one)

“Sirius I am going to kill you, you know.” Lily threw her bag onto the chair beside the door and kicked of her shoes making them fly half ways across the room and narrowly avoiding Sirius’ head. 

“Oi, Evans!” He gestured widely, first towards her and then the shoe, now on the floor. “What’s now?”

“That bloody interview you idiot.”¨

“Interview…you’ll have to refresh my memory here Evans.”

“Well let’s see.” She reached into her bag and pulled out a very ruffled magazine. “Boy band ‘The Marauders’ appeared from nowhere with their hit single ‘I solemnly swear’  which reached the top of the charts all over the world. Now, a year later, I sit here with guitarist Sirius Black for a exclusive interview.” Lily traced the page with her finger. “Wait, here it is. When questioned about the rumoured relationship with actress Marlene McKinnon he laughs and leans towards me. ‘If you’re looking for the juicy love story. I’m not your guy.’”

“So?” Sirius shrugged. 

“So. This morning, just after this very interview.” She shook the magazine frantically, “went out. The dear interviewer went out on twitter.”’

Nancy Thompson: A bird whispered in my ear that The Marauders golden boy might have a ginger on his hook.

Nancy Thompson:  Now who am I to draw conclusions but ‘It looks like it might be love ohohoh’ 

“You totally sold us out!”

“Well it’s true isn’t it?” Sirius swallowed and stood up again after dodging the magazine Lily flung at him.

“It was one kiss. One!” Lily jabbed her finger at him. “And it was none of your business to rat us out!”

“Calm down Lils.” He grabbed her wrist. “It’s not like anyone will believe her.” 

“Not? Well then why is #Jily trending?”

“Really? It’s only been like an hour.”

“I know.” Lily gritted her teeth. 

“I’m sorry. I didn’t know it would...”

“I know you didn’t. That’s not the point. I don’t care what’s going on with you and Marley, but you can’t use us as a shield because you’re uncomfortable!”

“Well maybe I didn’t do it because of her!”

“Then why? What possible reason could you have for selling me out like that. I am trying to build a career here!”

“Well this will help! Ever thought about that?”

“No.” Lily fixed her eyes at him. “No, it won’t. Now I will always be ‘she who hooked up with James Potter’ or ‘she who’s dating James Potter’ or ‘she who got all of her success from James Potter’. I’m trying to build my own reputation, and now this will always be part of it!”

“Wow, Lils. I didn’t.”

“So, let’s see. What reason did you have for telling that bloody interviewer all about my private life.”

“I...I was just trying to get you talking!”

“What?” Lily stopped dead 

“You haven’t talked since that night! James is sulking because he thinks he fucked everything up since you haven’t talked to him since then and you and your stubborn ass are just acting like nothing ever happened but I know this is killing you.” Sirius sighed and fell down onto the sofa again. 

“You wanna know what’s killing me? This fucking industry is killing me. Producers are killing me. Record labels are killing me. Heck, cover artists are killing me. Right now you are killing me. James Potter is not killing me.” Again, she had her finger jabbed at him.

“I didn’t say he was killing you. I was saying your feelings for him are killing you.”

“I don’t care what you fucking meant.” Lily bend over and took her shoe from the floor where it had landed. “I’m going.”

Not even bothering to put the shoes on, but just taking them under her arm, she slammed the door closed as she went from the flat.
