watching Doctor Who and its spinoffs in chronological order is wild. wdym I just watched the most heart-wrenching season finale filled death and despair followed by a season finale where the villains fart to death.

Something I keep thinking about is how the first thing they ever filmed should have been Fragments.

Because it's a flashback to pre-torchwood, everyone whose backstory is shown, they all look older than s1e1.

And I get it, they filmed it later. And maybe it was even written later. But realistically it would have made more sense to film it first or in s1 at the very least (if it was already written/in the works)

Especially for Ianto because he went from babyface to dead-inside-no-more-babyface
