Long necks mean more room for kisses.
Isdhoo Lōmāfānu is the oldest copper-plate book to have been discovered in the Maldives to date. The book was written in AD 1194 in the Evēla form of the Divehi akuru, during the reign of Siri Fennaadheettha Mahaa Radun (Dhinei Kalaminja).
Lōmāfānu (or loamaafaanu) are Maldivian texts in the form of copper plates on which inscriptions have been added. Many new Maldivian historical texts are found only in lōmāfānu form. The Divehi script used on the plates was named "Evela Akuru" by H. C. P. Bell, who claimed that it resembled medieval Sinhala script.
According to the Isdhoo Lōmāfānu, monks from monasteries of the southern atoll of Haddhunmathi were brought to Malé and beheaded.
My gal
a little sketch of a cave girl character i ended up coming up with named Evela.
{TES OC Appreciation Week} We know Evela is a capable huntress and warrior, but in the event that she is blatantly outmatched and knows it, would she choose to fight or flee? If she had a close werewolf friend who suddenly lost control of themself and couldn't regain their humanity again, would she put them down or would she allow them to live, unable to do a single thing to help them?
//Well, Evela has, more or less, a competitive nature that stems from being raised with the mindset that she would be either the hunter or the prey, and that showing any kind of weakness could be misconstrued as weakness and automatically push her into the “prey” category; fleeing could be seen as cowardice and weakness, and if there’s one thing Evela absolutely refuses to be seen as, it’s prey. She tends to keep a level head about most things, but when it comes to her own survival in a fight, she’s become a little too cocky in her ability to defend herself against anyone–Silver Hand, bandits, maybe lesser vampires and necromancers. But if she were thrown into a situation where she knew without a doubt that she was going to die…it would depend. She might flee, but not until the last possible moment, not until it’s almost too late (also see: first encounter with Zane).
As for the werewolf situation…it would depend. Evela has a certain standard for werewolves; if they blatantly attack people or let their wolves turn them into monsters, she holds little respect or like for them because they’re exactly the stereotype people expect them to be (exhibit A: Valdemar and Viveka). But if it’s someone who’s struggling to gain control over their wolf and/or who had the beast blood forced upon them, she’ll have a little more lenience for them; for as much control as she has over her own wolf, it took an entire childhood of constant practice to get even a sliver of control over her transformations, and even more to control her own actions when in her beast form. She’ll try to help them in any way she can, but if it was unlikely they could shift back into their human form…she’d probably realize the more merciful thing to do would be to put them out of their misery, though that would be after a long period of time in which she denies they’re completely lost to their beast. It would break her heart to do so, but she would recognize that the alternative would be more cruel than ending it.//

Main thing I like about how you play your muse: I love Evela for many reasons, including her toughness, but what I really really like (and also what Rowan positively adores) is when she's seen in moments without her guard up, unveiling these softer girlish traits she only exposes with those she's familiar or comfortable with. She may be a fearsome fighter, and an even fiercer wolf, but when she blushes and hides her face with that shy little laugh, it shows how fond she is of whoever caused it.
Tell me the main thing you like about how I play my muse
//Evela was initially meant to be this character who had absolutely zero care when it came to other people but oops she turned into a cuddly dork
Evela have you ever kissed a girl?
send me “have you evers” and I can only reply with “yes” or “no”
Evela smiled, releasing a huff of air through her nose that was close to a chuckle, then nodded. “Yes, I have.”
