Get to know Evelyn Brooks

Evelyn “Evy” Brooks is a calm, emo, and loving, 9-year-old gothic human girl who is one of Hannah’s best friends. She is 2 months younger than Cally and like him, she is also an only child in the Brooks household, but she enjoys the company of her parents and friends. Evy is also a bug lover as she likes to learn about different insects. She likes to make and read poems to her friends. She is also a huge fan of horror as she likes to watch monster movies and read horror stories. Her favorite colors are black and gray to match her outfit and her bedroom. She also likes punk stuff because she is so good at playing the electric guitar, and she doesn't mind joining their rock band with their friends. Evy likes taking care of her dog, Blacky, and she likes to do hypnoses on her dog to do wacky tricks. Although she speaks softly, she gets so interested in being a part of Cally’s pretend adventures. Her imagination may be powerful, but secretly, she has some special powers inside of her such as seeing into the future and she can also learn some magic spells as she practices. Her favorite day of the year is Halloween, where instead of trick-or-treating, she likes to scare people for fun.
