So my favorite moment of Halloween was when a kid dressed up as Foxy came up to me (Cinderella) for candy. He looked kind of bored, like “Give me my candy, Princess. But with a genuine thank you.”

So as I curtsied (as I do) to give him his candy, I said, “Stay in the closet, Foxy!”

And his face LIT UP. And he said “Arggh!” and thanked me in a pirate voice!! But then he was embarrassed and ran away.

Sweet, this 'meh' day just got better.

Came home to a phone message that medication is finally going to happen, for real this time. I'll call back in the morning, so I suspect within the week I'll be poor but medicated.

AND, did my occasional check of one of my superfluous email accounts and found that hey! I won some free advanced screening passes for Dallas Buyers Club for Monday.
