Oh hey, I just thought of a really fun idea!
There could be a blog dedicated to making roving gangs of fanfic commentors.
Like, people who follow the blog/discord server/etc agree to the terms of the blog in which when a new fic is selected at random and posted to the blog (every few days to a week), everyone reads it. Doesn't matter what it is. Doesn't matter if they like it. They read at least the first 5k words of it. And then they write a positive comment.
Can you imagine? Being a writer---particularily a beginning writer---and just....waking up to like 15+ new comments?
Especially if you didn't know about the blog???
This is the kind of positivity and comradery I could only see working in the Phandom.

Spotlight Saturday Official Announcement
Hello, all. (: my name is Hannah S. I am a writer that loves to spread positivity and love across this hellsite we call Tumblr.
That said, I run several little blogger events, such as Blogger of the Week and other such things.
I also run a couple of writer weekly ask events (Funny Ass(k) Friday and Truth-be-Told Tuesday).
Now is time for a Saturday weekly event! As I have a horrible, horrible freaking memory, chances are this probably won’t happen EVERY week, but I’ll make it happen as frequently as I can.
Now, what IS Spotlight Saturday?
Spotlight Saturday is a weekly event that’ll be run every Saturday where I take one person that likes and/or reblogs this post with their writing blog and I spotlight them.
What are the rules to be spotlighted?
There are a few.
#1 - you cannot have more than 500 followers to be spotlighted. This event is to give smaller writers more exposure - PLEASE BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR NUMBER OF FOLLOWERS, as there is no way (that I am aware of) for me to check and make sure it’s true
#2 - you must reblog or like this post to be considered for a spotlight position
#3 - you must have at least one WIP that you’re working on. It can be on the backburner for now, but you must have a link that can be linked to in order to read your story or about your story (yes, tags count. If you don’t have a website but instead of tags, just tell me your tags) if you’re a songwriter or poet or a short story writer, something like that, have a couple of pieces of work that you’re especially fond of at the ready to be spotlighted, just have SOME sort of writing that I can post.
#4 - there is going to be a poll/survey thingy for this for you to fill out. If you don’t fill it out, you won’t be spotlighted, period.
