Okay so if I’m understanding it right. The less they know the better in this situation. Olivine got possessed by the light he saw and that’s what lead him to try to answer the call of the sea. When the gang gets down there, the creature tries to take Olivine’s form to escape and tries to make Olivine the vessel for its message.
The gang can’t kill the creature unless Olivine sacrifices himself so he does. By killing himself, Olivine can’t fulfill the creature’s mission so it throws the gang out and makes them forget everything. It tries to do it again by sending out the purple glow to lure someone else but Eiden prevents this from happening by covering the eyes of both Kuya and Olivine.
This could also tie into why Eiden is the one to have the dreams in Olivine’s card because he’s the one that saw the purple glow.
(Because this seems to be the thing to do, and plus it gives me a place to collate all the posts and stuff.)
I will say, this isn't the first fandom event I've participated in, but it was arguably one of the most explosive in terms of content and participation. Not just the collabs I did, but the way people would just drop into ask boxes with questions about other people's Rooks (inspiring me to do similar), or come up with other big events for people to jump in on if they wanted. It was so much fun. :)
