Hey kids,

due to the COVID-19 pandemic literally every cultural gathering got cancelled, which includes such things as concerts, fairs, theater plays, operas... You know what I’m talking about. 

Luckily my theater is city-owned, thus I don’t have to fear about money yet. My favourite clubs are facing bankruptcy. Bands have to cancel whole tours. The industry is facing a total breakdown. Many of my friends work as freelance technicians, musicians, actors or photographers—and they can’t make any money at the moment, but need to pay bills and feed themselves and their family. 

Therefore I’m begging you to take two minutes and sign this petition about financial help for freelance workers in cultural spaces:
