“You’ll cheer me on? How kind of you.” Mitch murmured to the leggy redhead as she slowly but surely inched closer to his personal space. He had already volunteered for a round of Save the Citizen earlier today and was about to head into the gym when the girl stopped him, no doubt trying to act alluring in an attempt to win the man’s affection. But he had gotten good a letting girls down easy, so easy half the time they didn’t even know it. “I’ll be sure to look for you in the crowd when I win. Too bad I already gave my sister my jersey, or it’d be yours.” Sending her a wink, he turned around and shook his head as a soft chuckle left his lips. It was somewhat adorable, but honestly useless at this point. Catching the gaze of a person nearby, he couldn’t help but feign innocence. “What? Just bein’ nice to the girl.”
