When Reed had received the mask from Lord Huang, he immediately fell in love with it. It was a white half mask in the shape of a rabbit. It even had cute little ears and red accents. Upon seeing his date’s outfit, Reed couldn’t help but smile shyly. The vampire looked simply exquisite in red, his favorite color. Though he felt rather plain comparatively, he knew he was lucky accompanying someone who was dressed so elegantly. “My Lord,” Reed bowed graciously, the small bells adorning his mask jingling softly. “You look wonderful...”

Without a word, Eli tucked himself around Mia and heaved out a deep sigh. The new year had finally arrived. He was happy and drunk and maybe...feeling a little over protective. Squeezing her tightly, he kissed the top of her head. As fun as the city’s events could be, it always opened the wolves up to the cruelty of vampires. Somehow, Mia always became a target and it pained him all he could do was watch and put up with it. Thankfully, everything had worked itself out and they were finally together and alone. Tucking his face into the nape of her neck and brushing his hand through her hair, Eli took in her scent and closed his eyes. “Happy New Year, Mia...” @miacodona​

The ball ended up being something straight out of a fairy tale, or so Jack believed. It didn’t surprise him that everyone went all out for the event, they did so at each event he’s had to work at. He moved through the crowd of people as he carried the tray of drinks he was to offer to anyone who wanted one. It was an easy enough job, not too much different from his own. Most people didn’t pay him any attention at all while others would let their gaze linger. When he was down to one last drink he was roped into a heated conversation between two vampires about something he hadn’t a clue on. He stood there for a good few minutes, growing antsy about standing there when he let his eyes roam around only to fall on a familiar, and beautiful woman. It was a brief moment where their eyes met before he was forced to pay his attention back to the argument in front of him.

new years event closed @michael-windsor 

Masked events were among some of Eros’ favorites. The anonymity added to the thrill of things and made everything all the more fun. He was eager to accompany Michael for the new year, having not had the pleasure of his company in quite a while. Looking forward to discovering where the evening landed them, Eros smirked when he noticed the man, tall and broad shouldered man walking toward him. He was difficult to miss and even wearing a mask was handsome. Pursing his lips, Eros let his hands slide up the man’s chest. “You look handsome this evening, sir. It’s certainly been a while...”

After mistaking another man for Jack and embarrassingly having to explain himself, Reed wandered through the masked crowd. A bit tipsy and now embarrassed, he tried his best to search the groups of people. With everyone in masks, it was already hard to tell who was who but now tipsy it seemed impossible. He didn’t know if Jack was even still around or if he was with someone. With a small sigh, Reed stood, gently swaying to the music trying not to look too awkward alone. He wasn’t quite ready to give up his search yet, but he was growing more and more discouraged as gazes seemed to linger on him.

“Smokeyyy,” Eli called out in a loving sing-songy voice. Finally finding his sister he swayed over to her with a smile and a drink for her. “You havin’ fun?” he asked offering her the drink. @wildvtheart​

“Can I help you with anything?” He asked the vampire standing before him. It appeared to him the other might have been looking for something. Well, that was what he was assuming as half of their face was covered by a mask. Hard to tell what they truly wanted when he could only see half of him. He figured he might want something to drink, but he knew better than to assume anything of anyone. Especially vampires, they’re pretty good at surprising him when he thought one way. “They have quite a few amazing drinks at the bar, and blood.”

Having managed to slip away from Michael for a moment to grab a drink, his eyes wandered around the masked crowd. He didn’t understand the point of masks for vampires since they’d be able to smell people out if they truly wished, but as a human he was enjoying the near complete anonymity. His eyes lingered on a particular red head that seemed to be enjoying herself quite a bit and smirked. Taking two drinks, he wandered toward her and offered her one. “Your glass looked a bit empty, miss...” @jennaxxrose​
