These roasted masala chickpeas are a flavorful and crunchy snack that's perfect for a keto diet. They're seasoned with aromatic spices like garam masala, cumin, and paprika, making them a satisfying and healthy option for any occasion.
Ingredients: 2 cans 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1 teaspoon garam masala. 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin. 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. Salt to taste.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 400F 200C. Pat dry the chickpeas using a kitchen towel to remove excess moisture. In a bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil, garam masala, ground cumin, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt until evenly coated. Spread chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until chickpeas are crispy, shaking the pan halfway through. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
