Sam Riegel what did you mean by this. Sam what does that gif mean. Sam!!! Sam!!!!!!
There are not enough words in my vocabulary as I love Wick and Tyranny.
I've mentioned before how much I love these two, it kept me up all night but episode 3 was the final nail in the coffin, I know I won't be able to watch Critical Role every week because I can't sleep at work, BUT I make sure every soldier's table stays up until the last second.
the fact that Sam and Whitney hooked me in the first episode as this duo of people clearly don't belong in the same status as the rest of the people at the funeral made me really happy for the characters.
In the second episode, I see the dramatic part of these two being in a cult and that Wicky was raised as a sacrificial sheep by the family, but the Halovars themselves realized that he was more than that and thought "his mind would be much better used if he didn't believe in this religious shit."and tyranny knew it was all fake and yet she continued because she wanted to protect Wick from the truth, the scene of her sisters talking and her defending him and caring about him herself as if she hated lying and still cares about him at the same time is so fantastic.
and now the last episode...
Critical Role Episode 3 Spoilers....
OMG How can Sam and Whitney have such an amazing dynamic??? The fact that Tyrrany literally said that Wick can send her back to the Pit whenever he wants and she doesn't want that and he immediately responds that "SHE" is the only friend he has and doesn't want that, BUT she CANNOT hear that because she was more worried about his safety and explaining to him how he should take care to be careful is SO GOOD!!!!!.
another part is that since he thought all Religion was true he *REALLY* was trying to redeem her, and the part where she says "You can't redeem a demon, you couldn't" and man of both of them MY LIGHT what an amazing character level man.
The very end of the episode is the fact that will make these two follow until the end of this campaign, Wicander apologizing to everyone and then says that he feels more apologetic towards Tyranny because now she is stuck with him in this situation and his only reaction is, "OH BOY..." I can't, I'm going to watch the whole episode with these two even if I can't go to work the next morning.
so much more to say, my god, these two have rented my head forever.
I’ll never not be upset that because of that fucking editing we didn’t get to see tyranny’s initial reaction to yanessa’s “one who got away”/arranged marriage comment
wicanny sketchdump from twitter
when you laugh at him and he catches you and you don't really have to hide it, not anymore, but you care about his feelings, and this fun little game between you and-
it's goin down, im yelling tynder
Siblings, BFFs or Something else??
I don't know anything about Wicky or Tyranny's feelings about each other as they see themselves in their hearts.I only know that Wick considers Tyranny her only friend and Tyranny cares deeply about Wick (whether it's about him being her Patronus as she implies or whether she genuinely cares about Wick as a person she likes).
BUT I can't get two moments from the last episode out of my head, like everything revolving around Wick and Ty (I'm going to start calling her that now, I don't care) is going around in my head and I can't think of other characters.
Critical Role Campaign 4 Episode 3 Spoilers...
WICK IS ENGAGED???? Like I understood that he was created to be the sacrificial lamb to be the face of the cult, But arranged marriage? Wow and clearly Wick doesn't even know this woman and the Halovars just want her land, the face Whitney made when this topic came up made me think about these two even more.
Now this moment stayed in my head for much longer, when Grandma Halovar said "your Romance with The one who go away" the two's faces are simply sensational, and the moment when the two are getting ready to save Teor's life, Sam said "I'll wait a moment while Tyranny goes to prepare the carriage to look at a photograph alone" (probably from "The one who got away") and Whitney responded IMMEDIATELY with "NO I'm in the room while you do this, and I'm looking at you"Like Whitney just vehemently replied that no, at that moment Wick wanted to look at the photo of someone he probably loved very much in a romantic sense, Tyranny would not spend that moment going to get the carriage ready for them to go save Teor's life, she would spend that moment looking at Wicander, just a flat No.
I mean, am I probably reading too much into one action a player did instead of another? Probably. I love the Ty and Wick relationship, so is Tyranny secretly in love with Wick, or does she just think highly of him so he doesn't have that feeling of being alone? Maybe? Maybe not? I don't know. Which one, but I know that if they ever get separated from the tables, I'll probably lose my shit.
so they can both be whoever they want about each other, but they have to sit at the same table. Please Brennan don't kill them.
:(
Romance independence or not, we Critters need a name for this Duo.
I thought about Everbrighters. (Because I saw it in a fanart of theirs and I loved the name)
