Carnelian picks their wedding location. She wants somewhere beautiful for her and Padparadscha, and after looking all over the Earth she eventually settles with right on the beach in Beach City. The place holds sentimental value because it’s where she and Paddie spent a lot of time.
when they get married ( ie what time of day, what month and season etc.)
They get married at sunset. I feel like Carnelian would think late spring would be a good choice. Padparadscha is the one to suggest sunset for the time of day. Carnelian wasn’t quite sure why at first, but went along with it. Only after the beautiful setting sun’s light dances off against their gemstones and creates a beautiful display is when Padparadscha explains herself. Carnelian just smiles.
what traditions they include ( do they get married under a chuppah and crush a glass, garter toss, ‘something borrowed, something blue,’ etc. )
They don’t include many traditions because they don’t know a lot of them. The one they do include is the ‘something blue’ aspect, as Carnelian thinks blue is a nice accent for both of their wedding attire.
what their wedding cake looks like
They have a fairly simple cake. Though it isn’t a Together Breakfast like Ruby and Sapphire’s was, Steven helps them make a small cake with a couple of layers. Only when the rest of the Famethyst arrives do they realize they might need more.

who proposed to who first
Carnelian proposed first, but Padparadscha does a proposal of her own minutes after and predicts that Carnelian was going to. Both proposals are accepted.
who walks down the aisle and who waits at the altar ( or neither )
Padparadscha waits for Carnelian. This is mostly because Steven worried if it was the other way around, Padparadscha might miss her cue to go down the aisle and only go after it had already happened.
what their wedding dresses / suits / other look like
Padparadscha I imagine would wear something like this. And Carnelian also would wear a dress. Hers would be a little bit lacey and the skirt would be a little bit shorter, and she’d wear her hair in an elegant braid.
what their wedding colour scheme is and what sort of decor they have
They have pretty simple decor. All of it DIY, and most of it made by Steven, the Famethyst, and the off colors.
what flowers are in the bouquet ( if applicable. bonus: what do the flowers mean? )
Forget-me-nots (true love, good memories, long lasting connection),
what their vows are ( eg poetry, traditional, improvised etc. )
Their vows are both improvised. Both are from the heart.
if anyone’s late to the wedding
The Famethyst is a little late, but not by much. Carnelian’s just glad they came.

Skinny for sure, along with Rhodonite and the twins.
what their bridal party / groomsmen / other are wearing
Skinny and the twins wear a tux, and Rhodonite wears a fairly simple dress.
who gives speeches at the reception ( bonus: what do they say? recount a sweet memory or two between them? tell an embarrassing story? )
The Famethyst. They give speeches for ages and spare no details on stories of Carnelian’s past. The twins and Fluorite also share tales from Padparadscha’s.
who catches the bouquet( s )
Lapis catches the bouquet. She only makes a minimal effort to do, but is successful and actually surprises herself in doing so.
what their wedding photos are like ( are they sweet, with the couple holding hands or kissing or ~gazing into each others eyes~? are they silly, with a snapshot of the ‘cake-smash’ moment? or are they artistic, with one of them facing the sunset or holding their bouquets? )
Very sweet. Some of them are a little silly since Padparadscha has a bit of a delayed reaction to getting pictures taken, but after a bit they get the hang of it and get some really nice ones.
what sort of food they have at the reception
They don’t have the fanciest food for their reception since most of their guests don’t need to eat. Greg ends up getting pizza for them all.
who cries first during the ceremony
Carnelian, actually. She gets emotional during her vows.
how wild their reception gets ( who dances the best, who gets drunk first, etc. )
Their reception doesn’t get too wild at first. Eventually, the Famethyst gets the party going and Carnelian gets wrapped up in the shenanigans. She and Padparadscha dance the best, surprisingly.
what their rings are like
Their rings are Bismuth-made and crafted to last. Carnelian’s is a tungsten ring engraved with intricate swirling patterns. Padparadscha’s ring is more delicate and has little bits of crystal on it.
what sort of favours they have ( heart shaped sparklers, mini champagne bottles, personalised candy etc. )
Their favors aren’t anything special. They just give out cupcakes the two of them made before the wedding and decorated themselves. The decorating job is a bit sloppy, but done with love.
where they go for their honeymoon
On Garnet’s advice, they go to a secluded foresty place where special flowers that glow in the moonlight grow. (Those same ones from that one comic)
something memorable that happens during the party / ceremony ( do they run out of ice and someone goes to get it in full formal wear on foot, does anyone fall asleep in the middle of the party, etc. )
The Famethyst get so enthusiastic over Carnelian getting married that, once the ceremony is over, they bombard Carnelian with hugs. All the hugs. They even get Padparadscha. The amethysts get very emotional, too, and are the loudest to cheer when the newly married couple exchange their kisses.
