It had been several weeks since Corrin and Loki returned from their camping trip and though they’d ended it early, they couldn't deny that a little part of the experience had come home to stay. Corrin looked around and found an affordable and safe fire pit they could use at their leisure in their own backyard. Sitting around it and chatting had become he and Loki’s way of chilling out from the struggles of life and cheerfully watching the neon lights of the city twinkle in the night was just so damn peaceful. However, something was on Loki’s mind tonight...
Loki: ...I think I’m ready to open my club. I’m gonna do it.
Corrin: Oh yeah? That’s great, man. When you wanna do it?
Loki: I...I dunno. I mean, I think I’m ready, but shit...there’s so much that goes into opening your own business. Am I really ready? I dunno, now that I think about it. I keep telling myself I am but....for real? Mm.
Corrin: Hey. You can do it, Loks. You got this. You went to school for this, and you have me. It might be a little scary in the beginning but for real, once you hit your stride, you’d gonna nail it. If this is your dream, you need to follow it while you can!
Corrin: What’s that “mmm” for? If anyone could do this, it’s YOU. You’ve got the passion, and the confidence, and the support. You could take on the WORLD, Loki, but you can’t be scared! Stop doubting yourself! You’ve done great things in your life thus far. What the hell makes you think you can’t do great things with this?
Loki: You really think that, Corrin? You think I could make it?
Corrin: Listen. You’ve got the musical passion of a maestro, the ambition of a CEO, and enough loud-mouthed theatrics to put the Royal Opera House out of business. But you gotta GO for it.
Loki: Your shade has not gone unnoticed, but you’re right as hell!
Corrin: I know I am. I’m your brother. Your TWIN. I’ve watched you do your thing for all our lives, and I know you better than you know yourself sometimes. I know you’ve got this. If I didn’t, I certainly wouldn’t fill your head with pipe dreams.
Loki: You’re right! You have the emotional sensitivity of a cactus, there’s no way you could bullshit me on something like this!
Corrin: I’m glad you’re finally seeing the light, you thick-headed bastard.
Loki: Mom would not appreciate that comment.
Corrin: And you won’t tell her, or else I’ll shove you ass-first into this fire.
