Challenges ahead will seem like a giant that may terrify and frighten you. Those hurdles will speak words of fear and doubt over your life, telling you that you’re weak, unqualified, unequipped, and incapable. In the scripture we can see similar situation, when a Philistine giant challenged God’s people to have a one to one heavyweight fight with him. Everyone in the Israel camp was afraid and trembled. During one of those day a shepherd boy came over to the army camp bringing lunch for his brothers. When he heard of this matter, he said he will step in to ring to face the giant. Even though he was a boy, who had no military training, no battle experience, who looked like an ant compared to the size of the giant. Nevertheless, he had faith in God. He knew that the battle belongs to the Lord and he can use anyone who steps into the ring by faith. Moving on, that boy defeated the giant with a slingshot. In the same way when challenges arise don’t be afraid, don’t look down on yourself. Instead, put your trust in God, believe that He’ll reveal His glory through you.
