my current niall imagine is completley fueled by him joking about 1d themed power tools and me moving + renovating my flat and now all i wanna do is plan what to do with the kitchen, go to the hardware store together and then get to WORK next to each other, painting, tapestring, the LOT, maybe not talking for HOURS, the radio or niall's ipod on for all the 10 hours of work we're putting in, nonsensical conversations inbetween and then finish off exhausted with food and beer and conten happiness

Niall, who has a gajillion dollars, does not have to plaster his own house. AND YET. 

I love the idea of working parallel to each other and focusing on the task at hand but also tacitly enjoying each other’s presence? One of you asks the other for help occasionally and then for 20 minutes or so you’re working TOGETHER, talking, cooperating, then back to your separate tasks and it’s all very comfy and organic and positive and 10 hours of work doesn’t feel like work at all, except that you’re exhausted and the takeout food you order nearly knocks you out and all you can do is sit there together and admire everything you’ve gotten done.

Imagine Taehyung patting your head when you're in his lap after a particularly bad day at school. "It's okay, honey, tomorrow will be better! You know why? I'm gonna take you to get ice cream after I pick you up. What flavor do you want?" You sniffle and raise your head. "Mint chocolate chip?" you ask, eyes still red from crying. He smiles and looks down at you. "Make that a double scoop and we'll share." He kissed you on the head, and you snuggle back into his lap, excited for the next day.
