alright, time to talk notp. and time to prepare myself for anon hate later, lol.
obviously shipping blackinnon plays such a big part in it, because i personally don’t get how you can ship one person with two different people. blackinnon is the side i chose, and that’s that.
buuuuuuuuuut i also just don’t understand where people got this idea of remus and sirius being gay for each other. or just being gay in general. in a way, i can see how remus can be portrayed as maybe bi or pan, but not sirius at all. i mean it’s canon that he has posters of ‘bikini clad’ girls all over his room, and why would he have them up if he was gay? i mean, if he really wanted to piss off orion and walburga, he probably would’ve had guys in speedos up there, because can you imagine how pissed they would be if their son, who’s supposed to get married to a pureblood girl, was gay? if he were, i think it might be something that jk rowling wouldn’t of hesitated to give hints to, like she did with dumbledore.
also, i read this whole entire seven page speech that i bought for $0.99 on my nook (i forget what it’s called, but look up sirius black or remus lupin on barnes and nobles and i think it comes up), and it was just full of bullshit about why this person thought they were gay. “they got up to more than just the full moon in the shrieking shack” “sirius was hovering over ron that one time with intent of rape” (which is when he was actually looking for pettigrew to kill him). they were horrible reasons that this person pulled out of their ass, like wtf.
and, lastly, if sirius was going to be gay for anyone (which i don’t think he would be) it would be james.
edit: also, if remus was in love with sirius or whatever, would he really have thought that he was the traitor?
