Hey hi! This is my first original post on my booklr/writeblr and here’s to a new start!
Having a science major takes up a lot of my time but I make sure to sneak-peek little glimpses from my book between study breaks and commuting. This book is a wholesome read and though the language is not very glorified, the emotions are. I still haven’t reached the sad part and I’m terrified of bawling my eyes out haha ^ - ^

I will admit: I came to this book already having watched the movie, but it's been years. I did enjoy this book, overall, I liked the premise of it, but the one-page chapters kind of threw me off.
I am jealous of Maddy's library, and the fact that she barely has to interact with people. But I understand that she and I wasn't very different things.
Olly took some getting used to, and I didn't really understand the appeal at first, but then I got to know him.
I think my favorite character is Carla--NOT JUST BECAUSE SHE'S HISPANIC! I love her because of her wisdom and how much she cares for Maddy. She goes above and beyond, and I think she's Maddy's only friend before Olly.
I do like the fact that Maddy and her mom have their little routines. I enjoy monotony, so I believe that I would thrive in her position.

Maddy runs away with Olly to Hawaii for a mini-vacation, and she eventually finds out that she's not actually sick.
When you go to read a few chapters of a new book before bed, but end up a sobbing mess 4 hours later because you couldn't put the thing down! Cheers Nicola Yoon 👍 I didn't need sleep anyway!
