In honor of the Thanksgiving spirit I am bringing the updated version of the White bad boy video
Completely dedicated to my dear @everyurlithinkofistoolong 😈
I guess the content is good today @everyurlithinkofistoolong
Whitley: you're ugly, you're disgusting, I'm gonna kill you, give me 200 lien
Ironwood: *resisting the overwhelming urge to squeezes his cheeks*
whitley’s like that cat that hisses & swats at you but then melts like butter when you’re finally able to give them head pats sobs.
It wasn’t until after I posted the screenshots I remembered that little tidbit but thank you for bringing it up because I did notice it and it is pretty glaring once you do. I understand that RWBY is (supposedly) about the main female cast so I see why MLM romances aren’t at the forefront of the show. However, RWBY still has a shitton of male characters and, if it really wanted to prove it was inclusive, a good portion of those characters could’ve been MLM.
As for the writers claiming FG was “unintentional”, regardless of whether it was or wasn’t, they need to take responsibility and own up to what they did because there’s no way in hell the writers didn’t notice how many people loved Clover and/or FG and not have even a hint of how the backlash would be, especially with how active some of them are on social media. People thought he, and by extension the ship, were safe because why would some of the crew and even the official RWBY Twitter be hyping it up if it wasn’t? It’s almost as bad as VLD’s queerbaiting debacle, if it’s not already.
The last part? I’m autistic and that means one of my biggest problems is taking things too literally. It’d be one thing if I was interpreting those scenes in a romantic light and only a few others saw it the same way. However, a large part of the fandom saw it the same way I did and I cannot express how much of the blame lies on the writers and the overseers. They can blame the animators all they want but they, as I pointed out in the first part of my thread, are animating the scenes based off the script THEY gave them and the overseers either didn’t have enough awareness or they simply didn’t care. The shippers can’t be “looking too much into it” if the scenes are framed in a way to generate ship tease so it’s either the writers’ fault (highly probable) or all the shippers share the same problem as me (highly doubtful).
Orange for the ask meme because there's only room for ONE whitley stan in this fandom >:)
>:O
AND HERE I WAS WILLING TO SHARE
THAT’S IT! GAME ON! (ง'̀-'́)ง
everyurlithinkofistoolong replied to your post: Anyway if you’re anti-AO3/don’t support it/think...
Had to unfollow someone bc their blog was just super anti ao3 for no reason other than they’re mad that ppl are donating their own money in a way they don’t approve of. Kinda wack honestly. Never thought I’d see ppl mad about something like this.
It’s ridiculous! You’re allowed to donate to whatever organizaion you want. One isn’t “Better” than the other. I’m a little stunned but not surprised. Mostly just disappointed.
@everyurlithinkofistoolong oh, that's nothing.
I've gotten "I was given [X] money to murder you within 2 days, but I will spare you if you give me more money with bitcoin. Even if you don't go outside, I know where you live" spam mails multiple times.
My spam folder is a mess in general. I get phishing banking mails on a daily basis. For some reason, I get others that want me to buy products (like Viagra) to treat my erectile dysfunction (which I don't have).
