Check out these dice jail samples that just arrived. 

We've partnered with some awesome folks who do beautiful handmade wooden items (mostly from french oak or recycled NZ native timber) to develop time out boxes for misbehaving dice.⠀ ⠀ They come in two sizes (custom options available), with bronze or steel bars, and in the future we'll have custom options for laser engraving designs/words on the top. The latin on on of the samples roughly translates to "we are here until we learn".⠀ ⠀ The question now is what to name them.⠀ ⠀ We have a bunch of ideas, but we want to know your thoughts. Thought i’d do a bit of an update cuz I’ve been changing up my collections a lot!

Here is my DM palette, or my “edgy” collection :p I do use these for some character but I can’t stand mixing them with my pastel set.

Wherein I record the oddball stuff that happens in our Numenera sessions #5

Hello, three people and a pigeon who read these blurbs!

Last week, I skipped writing these because I was lazy. But this week, my group didn’t have a session, so...everything balances out I guess?

#1: In Numenera, you can use one (1) of the precious, precious Experience Points you gain by finding odd stuff to reroll a throw of the dice. 

Also, it takes 4 ExP to get one of the four perks you need to advance a level.

Now, the party was in an alley, flanked by thugs, when the other Jack (whose name, is, oddly, Jack (yes it’s confusing)) threw a cypher grenade at them.

The tank chimes in: dammit, this is important, I’ll use one of mine to reroll again!

The nano-sorcerer: shit, with a 1 we’d get a negative effect added to us! I use one of my exp!

Everybody looks at me.

Me:...fiiiinnnnee, I’ll jump on the bandwagon of stupidity and pitch in.

GM (facepalming): “You have now spent four exp. The grenade levels up. It explodes twice, in your face.”

#2 We get back to our sponsor, telling him about the all-women gang we’d encountered.

“Mmm....I’ve crossed their leader before. I’ll give you two cyphers each if you “take care” of her.”

me, trying to be a bit principled while the rest of the party is salivating: “absolutely not! We’re not your murderers for hire!”

“I’ll throw in an extra cypher if you bring her to me alive.”

“SOLD!”
