I started Dark Dice and it’s fantastic but every time I hear Samut’s name, I just think of Nani being like, “Samut (Notebook)? That’s a weird name. Can I just call you Book instead?” And Gemini having to explain that it’s short for Mahasamut (Ocean). Obviously.

You know, when you think about it, just about everything about Jeff Goldblum being in Dark Dice is hilarious.

According to Travis Vengroff, he basically emailed Jeff Goldblum's people and was like "Hey, does Jeff wanna be on our horror D&D podcast?" and "people kept not saying no" (that's a direct quote). Like, Jeff was just like "why the hell not? I haven't done one of these before and it sounds fun."

And then there's a big deal made about it because, you know, it's Jeff freaking Goldblum playing D&D. That's catnip to so many people. There were clickbait articles. People discovered Dark Dice, and by extension Fool & Scholar, through this (me included, and now I'm nose deep in White Vault theorizing so look where that got me).

And then like three episodes in, his character is revealed to be a recurring shapeshifting villain (which, incidentally, implies that that particular villain once looked like Jeff Goldblum as an elf before he got warped into the thing it is now). He attacks the party's ranger and fucks off. Which, sure, it's Jeff Goldblum, they probably couldn't keep his character in the whole thing because the guy's super busy and wouldn't be able to be there for every session, right?

But he keeps turning up! They did a musical adaptation of the first season, which he wasn't even in, and they had him do the voice of that villain! He sings as an eldritch horror! It's great!

I'm currently watching 8 - soon to be 9 - bl dramas that are currently airing 🤣 someone kill me.

Love in the Moonlight (airs Tues/Wed) (currently I'm behind. I need to watch this last week's episodes but I think I'll wait and watch them when the last two episodes air)

Dark Dice (airs Wednesdays, and not a bl)(tbh this one I've seriously put on the back burner so I'm behind)

The Cursed Love (airs Wednesdays)(only 2 episodes out so far and I am caught up on those now)

That Summer (airs Fridays)(I'm all caught up! 😄)

Me and Who (airs Fridays)(Just watched the first two episodes, and I'm honestly looking forward to this one so much. It's already so good and so funny and I'm so excited)

Revamp (airs Saturdays) (this one is good! But I'm also ready for it to finish so I can cross one of these shows off my list 😂)

Khemjira (airs Saturdays)(I love this one so much and I'm honestly so sad it's almost over. I'm still devastated over Thong and Ake.)

The Wicked Game (airs Saturdays) (I'm so pumped for this one! This one is top priority in my watch list tbh.)

And at some point I'll get around to watching the first episode of Love Never Sets (airs Tuesdays)

And I recently caught up and finished Rearrange. I love that one but I stopped watching it as I was airing bc i got behind at one point and then went oh well I'll just binge it when more episodes are out. It was so good.

There are so many good shows coming out right now and so many more upcoming ones I'm excited for. This is terrible. It's too many. I can't keep up with this much constant watching 😅 I have no life and I constantly feel busy even though all I'm doing is watching TV.
