Rewatching various playthroughs of Deltarune ch. 3, and I just realized that the Pippins being put in the Goulden Sam cages are supposed to be a reference to the Dice Jail superstition from DnD. The one Zapper even acknowledges that putting the Pippins in there to "punish" them actually does absolutely nothing
