Evil Genius in Lego(:

a P.A.T.R.I.O.T. investigator has managed to sneak into one of the lair's strongrooms, and is taking photographic evidence of our ill-gotten-gains!

unfortunately for the agent, there are two minions on their way over to the stack of gold bullion to investigate a single missing bar of gold. it would seem that one of their fellow minions has decided to give themselves a bonus, at the expense of the hard work of our global criminal networks!

will the P.A.T.R.I.O.T. agent be able to escape the lair unnoticed, or will they be discovered by those two minions? even worse, if the agent isn't careful of those laser trip wires, they could spring a hidden trap mechanism!!

Evil Genius in Lego<3

the control room: this is one of the central hubs of any evil organization's dastardly underground lair. your global criminal network as well as your minions away on missions are all heavily supported from the minions stationed in the control room.

without a fully staffed and running control room, any criminal activities in the world map and missions to complete acts of infamy will suffer greatly. workers in the control room relay data real-time to/ and from away-minions and the base.

so just btw. the control panel is still a work in progress. it will still mostly look like this when it's totally designed and functional.

also. if you didn't notice. there's some cute stuff on the desks of both control panels. one thing that's rly hard to see from these pics is Pip the penguin(: they are sitting on the desk of the back control panel(:

their super agent, Katerina Frostanova, has the ability to become invisible for periods of time, allowing her to make dope surprise attacks.

just a random scene of a room behind the evil art gallery in the inner sanctum(: Eli Barracuda on the other side relaxing in the training room. this set is made of 3 room types from the original game: the red floors are for the training room. the deep blue tiles are inner sanctum tiles. and the marquee floor tiles are from the hotel lounge. which technically, hotel room types cannot be constructed inside the mountain base, as they're limited to only the hotel buildings. but players can change that with mods. we always did(: and this is Lego. am not being 100% purist to the game but definitely very close in many ways, and not at all in others.

S.A.B.R.E.

S.A.B.R.E. used to be one of our favorite factions, as it most closely matches the aesthetics of do-gooders from the spy-fi action films we liked growing up (now our most favorite faction is S.M.A.S.H. but anyway). John Steele, their super agent, is the jack of all trades. not only is he highly trained in investigating, burglary, sabotage, and shooting up stuff, he's also a suave and handsome computer hacker who doesn't spare an ounce of compassion for the evil genius or their army of henchpeople and minions.

So, we were playing a 'game' where some of us (basically me and the EGs) would say a word, and she would say the first thing that came to her mind.

Me: "North."

Texan: "Korea!" *little thumbs up and slightly insincere smile*
