Which fankid would make a bunch of typos in group chat and which fankid would have a LIST of said typos and brings it up in chat every single time?

Maddie doesn’t make typos often. But when she does, Aster adds them to the list every. single. time.Otherwise, Emery always makes typos and Tanith roasts her each and every time.

42 Character Development Questions

Okay! :D Because Amena’s relatively new, this might change in the future, but it’s unlikely! (Also this was super fun so if you have any more questions, feel free to send them in!)

3. How do they position themselves in a group? Do they like to be the center of attention, or do they hang back at the edges of a crowd?Being the daughter of two Gym Leaders, Amena is used to being the center of attention. She can definitely be a bit of an attention hog as a result! She loves being the center of attention, and struggles with letting go of that.

16. Do they dream? What are those dreams like?Amena doesn’t dream often. In fact, the only time when she does dream is when she has a nightmare or a weird dream. Her nightmares often end with her being alone, either because everyone leaves her or because she pushed them away, and her weird dreams tend to be when she’s some random object (her weirdest one, to her, is when she dreamed of being chocolate).

20. What kind of individual relationships do they have with others, and how do they behave in them? How are they different between intimate relationships like friends, family, and lovers versus more impersonal relationships?With family, Amena is very close to her parents! She loves them dearly and tells them everything that she goes through. She’s so proud to call them her parents and carries a whole bunch of pictures of them wherever she goes. She doesn’t hold back when she’s around either of them, feeling free to be herself no matter what. She does tease both Viola and Grant about their embarrassing moments, but she means well.

With friends, it’s difficult to say. Amena likes being around people and being the center of attention, but she does feel like she has to hide part of herself a lot. She’s a lot less expressive around friends and won’t tell anyone when something’s bothering her. The same would go for anyone she’ll date (since she’s technically only 12-13 at the start of the story so, definitely not thinking about her having a lover or anything like that then). With her bottling herself up and hiding herself, it leads to a lot of ruined friendships and such.

With acquaintances or strangers, Amena still feels as if she has to hide a part of herself, but she does it to a much less degree than she usually does with friends. She definitely puts on an air of friendliness around people she doesn’t know too well and does her best to listen to them, but when they say something that she doesn’t agree with, she’ll immediately call them out and get into a heated debate with them.

31. Is there anything that counts as a “dealbreaker” for them, positively or negatively? What makes things go smoothly, and what spoils an activity or ruins their day? Why?Relationship wise, a dealbreaker for her is definitely when someone is being close-minded about gender and/or sexuality. She hates it, and has been known to get into some pretty bad fights over disagreeing opinions. Because of how open-minded both of her parents are and because of the affordable classes they teach, she doesn’t really understand how someone can be so ignorant and hurtful.

For activities, she hates it when the weather turns south. She’s a nature photographer and a lot of her work is outside with nice weather, she doesn’t really like it when she’s out and the weather gets bad. Amena feels as if her worst work is done in poor weather conditions, while Viola argues that that’s when some of her best work happens. However, on the opposite end, she loves it when someone helps her find the right angle and lighting for her photos.

40. What do they wonder about? What sparks their curiosity and imagination, and why? How is this expressed, if it is?Amena wonders a lot about how to make the world a better place. She just wants people to be accepted for who they are, but she doesn’t really know what to do about it. When she begins wondering about that, she ends up just staring off into the distance with a frown, and it takes a lot to get her out of this daze.

She also wonders a lot about photography. Amena wants to be a great photographer, she wants all of her work to turn out amazing, but can’t really figure out how to do that. She’s limited in her art and photography style, since she only takes photos when the weather is nice. When she does think about it, she tends to doodle on the nearest piece of paper.
