Honestly I fully expected Maleficent and Evil Queen to have the same face sculpt since turning any vampy looking doll green would be enough to call her Maleficent in Disney's eyes lol. But honestly Maleficent's sharp chin and cheekbones and thin nose really harken to her design while the Evil Queen had rounded features in comparison. So yarn wefts are a pain for me due to many issues but I do want her to have that wispy kind of fibres for her hair. But here's me having a bit of fun with a Creatable world wig since I think she's quite a fun doll even if I haven't finished her yet.
So I decided to fully repaint the hag head to toe due to staining on the face, plus I wanted her to be a deathly pale colour overall. She chips at the joints but I'm planning to cover her in a saggy robe so I don't mind. For such a detailed sculpt it meant it was easy for me to bring out her character. I definitely am happy how easy it was to make her look like the movie with the right colours and style. A big shoutout to @baxification for inspiring this project since I never would have come across this head in any form in my day to day life.
So I ended up making a lot more yarn wefts than I thought I needed for the hag but I'm really happy how it looks on her withered appearance since it makes her look more decrepit. I'm glad it covered up her stitching holes and the seam between her face and the epoxy putty as well. She's not gonna win any beauty contests but I'm glad she's done.
So while I know I have a few villains left to collect cuz it's VERY hard to replicate their body type or face (like Jafar) though in my heart I know I'll eventually get that Hasbro Disney villains set just to get a Cruella head.
