Q: Do you read holiday themed books? I never have in the past, but this year I'm feeling any and all Christmas or winter-y themed books, so feel free to give me some winter recommendations!. Some CLo books are beach reads. This is a curl up with a hot mug of tea under a warm blanket kind of book. If you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit, read In A Holidaze. Mae’s family and her parents college best friends have spend every Christmas week since she was born at a cabin in Salt Lake City, Utah. This year, things don’t go as planned, and after an accident….Mae ends up 6 days prior, back on the plane to Utah. She’s confused to say the least, but she relives those days a few times until she gets it “right” – its a Groundhog Day scenario and Mae doesn’t know what to do. She’s in love with the brother of her parents friends, Andrew. In order to stay in the timeline she wants, she has to confess her feelings to Andrew without messing anything else up. And he has to return the feelings. This was a very quick read, and takes place over just 6 days (or more, if you could the re-do’s….). I really enjoyed the build of the romance between Mae and Andrew. I will say, this is pretty tame for a CLo book. Things get steamy, but its mostly offpage.
