I am so happy to see my commission from @fiship all done and pretty! These are my two darling girls Azaele and Evisaria. Not necessarily on good terms, but sisters are sisters, eh?
I can’t get over it, I love it so much :)

Ammolite*
Ammolite - how lucky/unlucky my muses are
Well, as far as luck goes, most of my characters tend to get the short straw quite often.
Evisaria got the worst of it, being born into a family where at first she did not belong, then was shamed, and then eventually shunned and banished. Events in her life later down the road such as the death of her husband and some others were just as unlucky for her (though brought on more by foolishness than poor luck), though things have relatively evened out for her now.
Azaele is lucky to a degree, having everything she ever wanted, from attention and money, to the highest pedestal she could be placed on among the family. This all came with a price however, as her unstable family unit has placed a heavy load on her mental state.
Cathrilyn is among my luckiest, having a swell life, living well and happy, not being victim to much death and sorrow in her lifetime. She is definitely one of my happiest characters, even if she is rather awkward. Perhaps that is her unlucky fault - she just can’t quite talk to people the way she can with her animals.
Kelivara is fairly lucky as well, having been brought up in a way and a place where she was entirely unaffected by the fall of Quel'thalas, bearing no mental scar from the devastation of the elves. She was also fortunate to have been taught so well in the art of the Light to be steadfast and strong and to have found her solace in the cold of Northrend. She may be my most comfortable character. She has her life, her place, and the comfort of a fair life.
Question of the day: Do your characters have any rituals for casting?
When I think of rituals, the first to come to mind is Evisaria. Even though she has strayed from demonic magic for years now, she still adopts similar rituals and circles for her more powerful spells. She has small circles scribbled all over surfaces in her home from small domestic spells and even some alchemical transmutations.
None of my other characters really have rituals, though Azaele is constantly reciting incantations as she casts her spells, whether it be audible or otherwise.
A song for when Azaele goes into bossy/bitch mode? Same for Evi.
I feel like the title speaks for itself on this one. Azaele is just keen on getting annoying people away from her, and as quickly as possible. She doesn’t want to hear anything they say and if it comes to it, she’ll take them out like trash.
No one wants to hear youNo one wants to see youSo desperate and pathetic
And of course, since she’s a Lady, here’s her classy remark:
I’m begging you to spare meThe pleasure of your company
Evisaria doesn’t quite have a bossy/bitch mode. She skips it and goes straight to murderous - or, something like it. If she’s not showing it, she’s definitely feeling it. I thought the lyrics in this one really fit her quite well when she’s angered.
I want to watch you bleedYou’re the crime but I’m the scene
snarel
Lascivious Inquiries round! Is there any particular talent your character brings into intimacy? Anything they'd rather avoid?
When it comes to Azaele, her talent tends to be most in knowing exactly what she wants and when she wants it. If it’s not being given to her, she’ll speak up and claim it for herself. Never quite a dull moment with her.
She also has some talent in using her mouth in the bedroom. As was said to her recently, and heavily paraphrased, “who would have known you could use your mouth so well for something besides talking?”
As for my other toons, I won’t delve in to Evisaria and Cathrilyn because they just don’t do the do (one traumatized sinnamon bun and one baby precious cinnamon roll).
As for Kelivara, she’s similar to Azaele in that she’s very direct, but she also likes to talk a lot during intimacy. She likes to keep things exciting. However, unlike Azaele, her talents lie mostly in her hands. A massage from this girl is electrifying.
⌆ a nervous tic or habit they do
Evisaria: Evi tends to have a lot of nervous behaviors that she hides publicly as much as she can. For this reason, she always seems stiff in all of her normal behaviors - she is constantly focused on halting her nervous behaviors. When she’s alone, she tends to obsessively touch things around her; she is constantly rummaging through things in her home, clinking glass bottles, grabbing bound and dried herbs, touching her books, just touching any and everything she can. She also tends to have a number of twitches, mainly in her face - eyes, mouth, occasionally the crinkling of her nose.
Azaele: Aza is similar to Evi in that she hides all of her nervous behaviors publicly, though she is far more successful in doing so while seeming entirely natural. When resting, she may at times unconsciously ball up her fists, taking anything in her hand at the time with it - she ends up with a lot of crumpled paperwork this way. She also plays with her hair often when no one is watching - she may twirl a lock of her hair as she’s doing something or sitting down, or at times when she is particularly bothered, her behavior may range from obsessively brushing her fingers through a portion of her hair to gripping large sections of hair in her fist(s). She has also come to fiddle with her jewelry often - and she does wear a large amount of it. Twisting rings around, adjusting bracelets, swapping pieces of jewelry at a whim - she does all of these things and some other jewelry-related actions when alone or distressed.
Cathrilyn: Cath doesn’t really have any sort of nervous tics, but if she is nervous, she gets very jumpy and wide-eyed. She tries her best to not look paranoid when this happens, but it tends to show through a majority of the time.
Kelivara: Keli often taps on the hilt of her weapons with her fingernails, most often repeatedly. She also has a pouch that hangs at her side containing various runes and crystals - she clutches at her bag tightly when she’s nervous, her spiritual background compelling her to trust in her superstitions. Having the pouch and its contents make her feel much more secure.
✜ what’s their posture like in a normal situation?
Evisaria: Evi tends to hold her posture straight and well-composed. It’s often forced, so she may oft appear stiff in more pressing situations. She tends to hide that rather well otherwise.
Azaele: Aza tends to always hold a strong, straight posture, one that really fits a noble. She carries herself with an easy grace, never appearing stiff in her movements or sitting positions.
Cathrilyn: Cath is a young girl who loves to mess around in the woods and dance with beasts. She doesn’t slouch so much as she just doesn’t sit prim and proper whatsoever. She tends to move quietly, walking and sitting in a way that makes her seem a little bit small and essentially blend in with her surroundings. This backfires a little bit in Silvermoon. She just looks like she’s trying to be sneaky.
Kelivara: Keli is queen of the dignified warrior slouch. She doesn’t sit straight unless she’s at an important event, but even then she may just decide it’s not worth it. When she walks, she walks almost head-first; her strides are full of initiative.
Do they have tattoos, piercings, or other body modifications? Where and when did they get them, and what significance do these modifications have?
EvisariaEvisaria has a number of runes burned into her chest, stretching across to both of her shoulders. She got them soon after being thrown aside by her family, when she fully immersed herself in the art of fel magic and the general warlock craft. They glow green when she exerts herself in casting more powerful spells and burn deep red-orange when she restrains herself as to only cast regular flame. The latter has become more common as she learns to control herself, but she often returns to fel out of habit. As for piercings, she has a number of piercings up and down her ears and used to keep a jeweled septum ring in her nose, but she has long stopped wearing it.
AzaeleA tattoo has its place on her back, in the space right between her shoulder blades: a phoenix cradling an “S” between its wings. This is the symbol that represents the Sunbinder house and is featured on official documents, wax stamps, etc. Her tattoo is a more stylized version, more elegant and colorful. She has only her ears pierced, though she has a number of piercings along them.
CathrielCath has her left arm tattooed in a ¾ sleeve depicting two dancing dragonhawks with a background of clouds and blue sky.She has no piercings at all. Dangling shiny things on your body when working with beasts? Never a good plan.
KelivaraBearing strong ties to Northrend and much of Vrykul culture, she has tattoos on various parts of her body depicting titan runes of strength, fortune, and other positive qualities. She has only the lobes of her ears pierced.
