Despite the phantom pains which seemed to quake within a now empty socket where his eye once was, the surgeon shuffled his way over to the other man. They had been trapped for months... but the only sanity which remained was due to them having eachother. Arms slipped around his frame, pulling him close. "I'll find a way to get us out..." he whispered softly against the top of his head. // @Penguin Absolute Nightmare ~
Shaking breaths, body pressed uncomfortably against the wall and dry blooded bandages wrapped around his body. Penguin, never been feeling worse in his entire life, before he ended up in a hell of a prison. The only comfort that he had, was his Captain. Although, he wished his Captain had stayed safe and away from the torture. That wish had simply been easily crushed some time back and here they were, together, hoping for a chance to escape.
Pale eyes shifted from the floor to his Captain, the touch around his body warm, the pain from his cuts and bruises forgotten. He sighed heavily as his body automatically leaned against the Surgeon. His remained right hands fingers pressed softly against the man’s back while his stub of a left arm remained hanging against his own side.
“I know...” Penguin started as his head leaned down to rest against Law’s shoulder. “They are smart, but... everyone makes mistakes and if you ever get a chance to escape, please, don’t hesitate to leave me behind.” He had hope, to get out too, but even that hope had begun to fade within all the months he had been stuck here.
His body had gone weaker, he barely had any muscle left to fight and if they got a chance to escape, Penguin felt like he would slow his Captain back. Even at this moment, his stomach growled for food and his lips were chipped and dry due to lack of water. Not to mention the blood loss and wounds that weighed heavy on his body. Not that Law was in any better condition to move.
