He dropped, feeling her arms around him as he came to fall on his knee's, weakened. Blue blood spilling around him from the wounds. Finnian fell forward a bit, catching himself on his hands and holding himself up a bit with his arms. He offered a dull smile toward Evo "Oh...Hey. Just in time." Moving to sit on the back of his legs, he gasped, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth along his chin and dropping off into little droplets in his lap " You okay...that's good..." Dropping his head unconsciously onto her shoulder he continued playing it cool "I just...need a few minutes...to rest...Then we can...we can get out of here." Nodding his head slowly, Finnian pat his left hand against one of her arms to reassure her.

Are you paying attention to me?" He looked over toward Evo then, seeing her face had been turning red "What?"

Finnian lift a hand up to his head, fucking some hair behind his ear as he hears his "Well what did it say?" He asked, looking toward the floor, then. His nose curling a bit as he wondered why anyone would use a living floor. Wait, why were floors alive? Raising his eyebrows he pulled his attention from the floor to Evo "Has the floors been sentient here the whole time?" He had never detected life from them, like that. Frowning a bit he looks to the floor again "Is your species the only one that can understand it... My floor doesn't talk. If it could it would probably not be happy about the guests that spill tea on it sometimes."

He squint, then slyly looked to the side at her, before frowning slightly for a moment "I'm scared of the dark." Giving a shake of his head he half shrugged. Though he wouldn't say having a phobia of darkness could be considered the same thing, here, or maybe it was. Being terrified of anything wasn't fun, he could understand. In any case he stares out at the rain, listening to the sound of it, taking in the smell of it "This planet's season's are always fascinating, the weather too." After a moment he looked over to her again "But I'll be here, if the thunder or lightning comes. You'll have me."
