Mid-Engine Subaru 🇯🇵😳 ______________________________________ Ok we though this was a joke two years ago but it’s not...Two years ago a rumor came out that Subaru is working on a mid engined BRZ looking sports car with hybrid motors up front but the company quickly squashed the idea....but now it’s back, just around the time where they are supposed to be unveiling a “concept” that previews the car! The Prototype has been testing at the Tochigi proving grounds! 🔥Since literally no info is known, I would expect a turbo or twin turbo flat 4 in the mid with the two electric motors to make close to 400HP! The rumors say that a 1.6L Flat 4 paired to the motors would make 330HP 🔥 Apparently, Subaru is considering it based off their non stop growth and growing demand in the US for an STI/performance model! The Hybrid part of the rumor makes sense as Subaru is about to launch a new hybrid Crosstrek as well as a new dedicated Hybrid model!
