12. 19. and 13!!!!

can't even explain how excited I got when I saw someone had given me some numbers :)))))) I really wrote an essay here so I apologise in advance, but this was very fun for me!

12. a trope you’re really into right now -

oooooh you know I have a strong love for specific tropes. I mean I'm always going to be a sucker for toddler/baby agere fics, and everything that comes with it. You guys know I love all the emotion heavy introspective stuff and all that haha.

For agere fics I've been really into the massive kind of hurt/comfort types, talking about big tantrums and classification reveals and little dropping due to an injury or high stress situation. Just really big blow ups have been something i've been sinking my teeth into - both reading and writing wise. I'm also very much on the littles are known au train right now.

For non agere fics, not that it's really a trope but I have randomly gone back to my marvel roots and have been enjoying reading a lot of fics set in that early avengers timeline - aka I've been reading the classic literature of Stony fics again lol.

19. the most interesting topic you’ve researched for a fic

Generally, probably the things I've looked into for the Evolution series. Mostly things that people reading don't actually care that much about and will accept the creative liberty taken in a fanfic. Regardless, you know I've stress googled how long different types of canned foods last, what picture books came out pre 2003, what type of fresh food would be able to grow in jackson, etc... Though I'm not sure any of that is particularly interesting hahaha.

this also isn't reallly on the fun research side but I rewatched a LOT of twd while I was writing those fics to make sure that even though story wise it obviously didn't make any sense (it's agere, you just accept that) but the characters whereabouts and relationships would. Not that I encourage anyone to read those old fics of mine at all but I definitely put in some TIME for them back in the day.

So unfortunately I can't say I have any particular topic to share - I'd say maybe my formula 1 knowledge, but I don't learn any of that stuff specifically for writing fic soooooo. When I was writing my hunger games fics I spent a very very very long time talking details and headcanons over with @sagetheenbymage, like more than I can even describe, and I'm pretty sure they did some research on different cat breeds while we were doing that???? Maybe a question for them ahhahaah

13. a fandom you’re thinking about writing for

well, well, well...

I can definitely say that I have another f1 fic coming. Confidently. It would be a shock if it isn't the next thing I put out on ao3. A little while ago I organised some of my pre written Evolution stuff, so that's always on the cards. I have some ideas for some more James Bond stuff out there...

As far as brand new fandom for the Cget fic noticeboard, I have a couple things in the back of my mind that have potential to be done. The Quarry, The Pitt, Thunderbolts, The Hunger Games (original trilogy), Heated Rivalry, I even have a massive idea for a doctor who agere fic so... if you want to see me tackle something in particular, lemme know!! Like seriously, LEMME KNOW!!!!

30. share a fic you’re especially proud of

It has to be All In, I think. I was so nervous to post it at the time, and the whole way through writing it I was constantly on the verge of convincing myself to drop it altogether because I thought people would hate me for it. I recently reread it and It's easily one of, if not, my all time favourite I've done (surpassing my fav before that by miles, which was Patience and Restlessness) I'm so happy I stuck with it and posted, I got the most lovely comments on that fic and I'm really excited to dabble in the f1 agere some more.

Cget Update 🦕

I took a bit of an impromptu break from pretty much all social media - tumblr and ao3 included - but I'm getting back in the swing of things now, catching up on all my favourite fics and new posts, writing some of my own stuff, and I'm about to start replying to all the lovely comments I've received while I've been away!!! Sorry for the time off, I appreciate all the loving on my recent fics!! Not to jinx myself but there shouldddd be a new silly niche fic up by the end of the week if I keep my fingers crossed, and in the background I'm working on the Evolution series also! :) <3
