Nobody loves to slander their eurovision acts more then Latvians. The shit that Samanta had to go through because she wanted to represent her country was horrible. People were literally starting petitions to have her withdrawal from Eurovision , they were slut shaming her, making extremely misogynistic comments, sending her DEATH treats. Every year Latvians slander their eurovision acts, but never before it has reached this level. You want to know why most Latvians hate her? Because she had the "audacity" to show 2 women kissing in her music video and sing about women empowerment. People here are so dumb and backwards thinking. It sucks so much...
