New To The Valley

Hello! I’m Natalie, and I’m starting this Stardew Valley themed blog! All of this can be found on each of their pages from my blog, but I’m not sure how mobile will handle it. Meet the farmers:

Ewokey: Ewokey’s always had a touch of magic about her, and while she loves the scientific process as much as the next girl (if the next girl is her wife, Maru), some things just can’t be explained through calculations. That’s why she’s taken up an apprenticeship with the Wizard and has befriended the mysterious creatures that surround Stardew Valley. She’s close with Krobus and the Junimos and has a wary, professional relationship with the Dwarf.

Lily:  Artist at heart, shy and lives a quiet life in the valley. She hasn’t gone out to socialize much within the Valley, but she did manage to fall for Leah.

Dawn:  A fighter at heart, she learned to use a sword when she was a little girl, tromping around on her grandpa’s farm. Now that she’s older, she’s back in Stardew Valley to try her hand at farming after getting burnt out on the city life.

Ophelia: Ophelia always enjoyed how slowly time flowed in Stardew Valley, so when she and her girlfriend Dizzy were tired of the city life, they decided to take a risk together and move to her grandfathers farm. Now they’ve got bustling fields and a small pasture of animals and their lives are underway. Ophelia recently found a prismatic shard and blueprints for a wedding ring… Perhaps with a little luck and iridium she’ll soon have a wife. 

Each farmer’s sprite and living room is currently posted on their about page, and I’ll be starting tags for each with information about them. But in the meantime I’m looking forward to joining the Stardew community <3

Can I date both the twins on your dating sim?

Fuck yes.  One note about them is that their routes are particularly difficult to get bc the twin you’re not dating? Definitely does their best to get in your way. They’re fiercely protective of each other and suspicious of everyone. So good luck surviving that.

You’d initiate both routes the same way: either work with them on a job or be a rival in their field that just so happens to bump into them a lot.A and N are both competitive and love a good challenge. The more you work with or compete against them, the more interested in you they’ll be.

Choosing A’s route is relatively easy. They’ll be flirty with you from the start (they’re good at it and that’s the best way to lower someone’s guard, so why not?). Compliment their skills and participate in a few pranks with them and they’ll warm up to you quick. They’ll still be suspicious of you, of course, and their sister doubly so, but if you put your life on the line for either of them, A will put their trust in you. Their sister is a problem unless you risk your life for A, at which point, while she may slip you a few threats, she’ll be less willing to get in the way of A’s happiness. As long as you treat them right.

N’s route is harder. You gotta work with her and gain her trust, which means not only showing you’re willing to risk your life for her and her sibling, but also pulling your weight around her: taking watch, helping them search for clients, scoping out targets, etc. She’s all around more reserved and suspicious, so it takes a lot more to get into her favor. And her sibling is more likely to actively threaten you. A is unlikely to trust you with their sister even if you show you’re willing to lay down your life for her. You’ll have to actively dodge their (very real) threats while doing N’s route. Good luck with that.

Neither of the twins is all that romantic. N just doesn’t care for romance and neither really have the time for it in the first place. A’s route will include some bonding scenes while on jobs, including little gifts and stuff from them. They’ll be more at ease around you when they really like you. N’s affection will show up in little things she does for you to make your life easier. Plus she’ll be more than willing to stay up and have deep talks with you when she really likes you.

Late route for both of them would deal with their past and how each feels about their burn scars. It’ll be very emotional, but if you’re willing to give all your support to them, then they’ll do the same for you. And hopefully at this point you’ll also wrap up whatever tensions still exist between you and the other twin. Hopefully.

Ok so I started watching PoI and holy fuck I love this show so much more than I expected to, also they're looking after a BABY and it's the most incredible thing in the world I cannot imagine 2 worse people to care for a baby together and I LOVE IT

POI is so underrated and LISTEN. I love that episode so much. I literally got out my DVD set specifically to watch just that episode the other week

@ewokey oh no hey listen you should be fine seeing the movie with parents as long as you follow “conceal, don’t feel” and don’t mutter “this is un-fucking believable” under your breath at regular intervals like I did. like it would certainly all go right over a straight parent’s head I bet, it’s nothing you don’t see a hundred other actresses do in a hundred other str8 ppl movies they’ll never know the difference. just try not to fan urself too much or swoon

I was lucky enough to go with my lesbian roommate so our discussions afterwards were very, uh, pointed, but it’s a very fun movie in a lot of other respects so you should be able to talk to your folks about other parts of it like “isn’t female friendship so great! I loved the close friendship between Sandra Bullock and Cate Blanchett’s characters, they were truly ride or die bff’s!” (queer translation: “gay vibes. heaps and heaps and heaps of gay vibes. harold, they’re lesbians.”)
