Today on the bus I heard someone say: “does anyone else notice how there are more and more n*****s in the school? Or is that just me?” Not only did he use a racial slur but he seemed almost upset about it.
When someone confirmed that more black students were entering the school as freshman (and really, there aren’t many. I go to a very white washed school, and hardly see any black people. If I do, most of them are mixed race, and not entirely African American) he groaned as if to say “oh god. How horrible.”
He was also told to “Thank the Democrats for subsidized housing. That’s why they’re here.” And the racial slur mentioned above was repeated several times. They were disgusted. And then they laughed about it.
It might not seem like a big deal but this one little racist remark really upset me, and it shows how bothered people are just by someone else’s culture and skin color. It’s disgusting. And horrid. And when I said “oh jesus” in a remark, he seemed offended. And asked me if he “couldn’t say the word”.
No. You can’t. Because that’s a racial slur, and you’re white, and you’re degrading people because of who they are and what they look like. Because they’re black. And that’s the most unattractive thing in the world.
And you wonder why you can’t get laid.
This is probably so out of context for my usual postlessness but I had to share because this sort of thing is wrong. And I want any parents or future parents to make sure that their kids understand that this behavior is disgusting and won’t get them anything in life save for a punch in the face by a rightfully offended African American.
